How soon can I get back into the garage once the garage floor coating is completed?
As a general rule, we always suggest the following timeline to ensure the best possible cure period. In some cases, you can access the floor sooner, but please discuss with us prior to do so.
Our recommendation is:
- Foot Traffic – 24 Hours after the final coat is installed.
- Vehicle Traffic – 48 Hours after the final coat is installed.
How long does an epoxy floor installation take?
Epoxy floor installation typically takes 1-2 days depending on the type of job. The epoxy floor installation process can take longer for larger areas.
What are the benefits of installing an epoxy floor?
An epoxy floor is three times stronger than concrete. We use industrial coatings and guarantee satisfaction on all of our jobs. All of our epoxy floors are UV stable so your floor will not turn yellow due to sun exposure. The team at Custom Art Epoxy does not take short cuts and will ensure that the job is completed to perfection.
Will my epoxy floor be durable?
Yes! Epoxy flooring is ultra durable and stands up well against heat, fire, abrasions, and water. It’s also nearly impervious to almost all chemicals, including bleach, gasoline, and oil. You can expect your seamless epoxy floor to last for about a decade and protect the concrete underneath while looking as great as it performs.
Do your charge for In-Home-Estimates?
There is never a charge. Over the phone we determine whether or not one is required at all. In many cases it is not. If required we will set up a time and visit with you at your home during business hours.
